Paper Flowers for a Wedding
Making paper flowers for a wedding has many benefits. The flowers will not wilt for starters. You can make any flower in any color and arrange them however you would like.
Paper flowers can be made for the ceremony, reception, the bride and groom and the entire bridal party as well as the parents and grandparents. Tossing rose petals instead of rice is a much environmental friendly way to show your happiness for the bride and groom.
Let us look at a nice bridal bouquet for the bride. It is rather unique but very beautiful.
Beaded Bouquets are a dazzling bridal bouquet and can also be used for the maid of honor and bridesmaids. When you make your own wedding bouquets using crepe paper, beaded bouquets are not only beautiful but they also add a touch of flair to the bride and female bridal parties entire ensemble. To add beads to the flowers you can simply glue them on using a clear drying glue. If you choose to add beads to the bouquet you can use bead pins or pearl-headed pins. You just stick the pin in the holder wherever you want them. To liven up the pearl pins add a few sprinkles of glitter. This bouquet may not sound very unusual but it is because most brides stick with traditional bouquets that do not have any added sparkle. They focus on the flowers and the colors. This type of bouquet allows the bride to be more creative and match her personal style.
Flowers for the hair are another popular bridal flower. You can choose any flower you would like for your hair and your bridal parties hair. The easiest flowers to make with crepe paper are the following; the lily, peony and the rose. Aside from being easy to make these flowers also attach well to barrettes, hair clips and headbands. The best part of making these flowers yourself is you can make the bottom portion (the part that will attach to the clip, headband or barrette flat and smooth.) You can make them large enough to cover an entire bun style hair-do or small enough to have 12 of them on one headband. You can use bobby pins to help keep the flowers in place.
Flowers for the reception can be as simple as one single flower in a vase or lay one in front of the place setting of each guest. You can also have large arrangements spread out along the table. Whatever you decide on is great. You might consider sprucing up the bouquet with berries. Colorful berries that come in little clusters add a special touch of elegance to any floral arrangement. They come in several colors and sizes. They can be purchased at floral shops, bridal shops and in department stores. These berry clusters usually come with a pin or a wire so you can easily attach then to the flower arrangements.
These same paper flowers centerpieces can also be used during the ceremony and just ask a few people to bring them to the reception and place them on the tables or wherever you would like them. Many brides think they need separate centerpieces for the ceremony and the reception. That’s not true chances are the flowers at the ceremony were not very noticeable with all eyes on the bride and groom.
