Whatever you decide on is great. You might consider sprucing up the bouquet with berries. Colorful berries that come in little clusters add a special touch of elegance to any floral arrangement. They come in several colors and sizes. They can be purchased at floral shops, bridal shops and in department stores. These berry clusters usually come with a pin or a wire so you can easily attach then to the flower arrangements.

If adding glitter you may want to use spray glue to spray the flower then sprinkle a little bit of glitter over the flower, let it dry then spray with a coat of spray clear gloss and let this dry. This will keep the glitter from coming off quite as easy and you may not have as much glitter everywhere.

You can also dazzle your crepe paper flowers by using craft paints, magic markers, crayons, powdered chalk, waxing (be very careful around small children if you try this), and there are other things that you could try. What can you use crepe paper for? There are many things you can make with crepe paper such as paper flowers, dolls, costumes, piñatas, and many more items to decorate with.

Crepe paper is easier to work with than other types of paper since it is stretchable and this makes it easy to form into the shapes that you might need for your projects.

You can get the crepe paper that is bleed resistant, that is the color of your paper will not run on your other paper designs if it gets wet, and markers or other coloring materials will not run when used on this paper.

 Also some the crepe papers are fade resistant and that means over time the colors will not fade as easily as the ones that don’t emphasize this point. The sun also will not fade them as easily.

Most of the crepe papers any more are flame resistant which means that if they do get close to flames they will not catch on fire as quick as they would if they were not flame resistant and when not in direct contact with the flames it will extinguish on its own. This makes it a little safer but do not take that it won’t burn if put to the test.

The crepe paper we like the best is the one that is bleed, fade, and flame resistant. Don’t get me wrong we do use the other type too; we just like the other one the best.

When we make some of our paper flowers we sometimes need the paper that does bleed for some of the flower designs to look like the real thing. You will probably find out the same thing when you make the different decorations that may need to bleed a little.
